Surfboard racks keep your surfboards safely at the top of your vehicle during your trip. Surf media are also used as the best place to keep your surfboard when no steps are used at home, in your garage, store, exhibitions or in shelters on the beach. When your tips are not in use for a long time, it is necessary to place on a surfboard rack to avoid teeth unnecessary, dings, and even delamination.

Some surfing media are designed for advice on the wall, while others simple are stands that prevent the tips touching the ground. According to the design of the shelf, and the available space, surfboards can be place horizontally with the rail-side-up or nose vertically. Most likely, surfboard displays and exhibitions depend on so many racks of surfboard, which sued overall surfboards is based not only on the artistic designs and airbrush, but is also dependent on of display boards using striking racks placed in the correct position.

As surfboards are quite expensive, many people resort to adding a locking mechanism to their surfboard mounts. A locking mechanism is necessary to prevent your advice to be stolen or used without your consent. You can attach the lock of the leash Plug-and - or center fin box slot. You may also prefer the locks that are plucked or attached around snowboarding surf and then attached to something that is hard and real. Used in the system of locking lashes are generally made of reinforced wire cable and are not easily cut or torn.

There are two types of surfboard materials you can use to carry your surfboards: soft racks and hard (fixed) racks. Soft racks are removable media that can be securely fixed on the roof of a vehicle required (i.e. whenever you are surfing). Rack Soft will hold your surfboard firmly in place and prevent the advice of bumping each other or against the roof of the vehicle when you travel to your surf break. The parts of the rack to make contact with surfboard are made of soft padding and not any marking cause bumps or unnecessary to the Board of Directors. These soft mounts are available in your preferred local surf shop or your store online and come with a price tag less than hard racks.

Hard racks (fixed racks) are more robust and more durable than the soft racks. They are designed to be fixed on the roof of a vehicle. This type of rack is highly recommended if you surf much same surf spots. With a fixed stand on the roof of your vehicle, you do have to attach the rack whenever you are surfing, you saving more time. However, hard racks are more expensive than soft racks and often cause damage on the boards during the trip. If this is the case, you can just simply a piece of tissue, such as a towel between the points of contact for the force of impact buffer and is often enough to prevent your Board of Directors to be damaged.
