Barton Lynch - Remind the world of surfing Champion

The Barton classic Australian Lynch ever the prankster and instantly sympathetic has been described as affable, outgoing and uncompromising. Lynch was known to have a polished attack face front and rear, and was a fierce competitor.

Raised in the beaches of the North of Sydney, Australia, propensity of Lynch for the surf was evident from an early age. School soon takes a back surf and Lynch took the path relatively unheard of and became a professional at the age of sixteen years. In 1983, he won the right of passage contest junior pro and in its first year on the pro tour he broke into the top 16. Always very competitive in all conditions around the globe almost consistency became his downfall. A finalist finish and a third developing leaves tour surf community, you wonder if Lynch had missed his chance at the title.

But that all changed at the home of the champion Pipeline. They say that every man has his day and this day belonged to Lynch, the huge storm conditions made pipeline even scarier than normal and it would be Lynch which is passed to the opportunity in a view that has been somewhat unexpected but merit a victory of the Championship of the world. Many years in the top 16 followed with Lynch finally retired from competition in 1998, it now can be found living on the beaches of the North, surf for fun and enjoy life. We hope that you get more than your share in the line up you is certainly true. Barton Lynch won the Champion of the world in 1988.
